The Writers’ Guild of Great Britain is a UK trade union representing professional writers in TV, film, theatre, radio, books, comedy, poetry, animation and video games.

As Deputy General Secretary Lesley plays a key role in the negotiation and implementation of WGGB national agreements including those with the National Theatre and the RSC.  She leads on  WGGB research and policy and oversees other core areas of the union’s work,  She represents WGGB in the UK and abroad and deputises for the General Secretary.
