Alexander Forni
Alexander JC Forni trained at Rose Bruford in the UK, and the Insitute del Teatre in Spain. It was during this time where his love and passion for physical theatre and devised work started and has since continued to grow. Alexander also trained with Stone Crabs Theatre Company, where he won a young directors award for his adaptation of Harold Pinter’s ‘Mountain Language’.
Alexander has had many varied experiences on stage from performing in a renowned street theatre festival in Poland, to touring a show in Italy, working as a presenter for The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) and more recently being in an advert for Willan Hospice, as well as lots of other exciting productions in between. Alexander also enjoys working behind the scenes, having previously been a lighting operator for an international show at City Hall, London, Crew at the Albert Hall, ASM at the Savoy Theatre, London, and as a Script Writer for ZSL, as well as writing some of his own works.
Apart from the Arts, Alexanders other love (excluding his family) is the outdoors and nature, where you can often find him writing poetry, playing sports, meditation or using his skills as a Reiki Master to help realign and heal one’s energies.
Alexander has only recently (2024) had the chance to work with Rosemary Hill, taking on the role of Alfred Frankland in the play ‘It’s Not a Game For Girls’ for her sister company, Peppas Ghost. This was an experience that Alexander really enjoyed and will forever cherish. He is also very excited and honoured that he has been asked to be an associate of The Plays The Thing Theatre Company.
